Do you process wheels for private individuals or do I have to go through a Sales Representative?
In general, Winona PVD Coatings, LLC does not process wheels for individuals. However, if you contact us, we will be glad to put you in touch with a Sales Representative in your geographical area.
What is the warranty on Winona PVD’s G-Chrome® finish?
Our G-Chrome® finish is warranted for three (3) years.
How are warranty issues handled?
For a suspected warranty issue, a customer must contact Winona PVD Coatings’ Quality Departmentwithin the warranty timeframe and receive a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number. Once the wheels have arrived to the factory, Winona’s Quality Department will review the claim and a representative will contact the customer directly.
What is the best way to clean wheels with the G-Chrome® finish?
No special cleaners are required to wash G-Chrome® wheels. For cleaning on a regular basis, Winona PVD Coatings recommends the use of a soft sponge, water and either a mild dish soap or an automative soap that is safe for painted finishes. Dry the wheels with a soft cloth. Always allow wheels to cool before cleaning. Never spray cold water on extremely hot wheels. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, acid based chrome or wire wheel cleaners, steel wool or bristly brushes on the G-Chrome® finish.
What happens if I scratch my G-Chrome® finish?
Winona PVD Coatings recommends using Meguiar’s ScratchX® 2.0 to completely eliminate any scratches quickly and easily. Through the use of diminishing abrasive™ technology, ScratchX® 2.0 offers a permanent solution for eliminating scratches by buffing out the offending blemishes, without harming the wheel.
What are the size limitations for wheels that Winona PVD Coatings can process?
We are able to process 15 inch to 22 inch wheels.
What colors are available in the G-Chrome® finish?
Currently, G-Chrome® is available in a bright chrome finish and a black chrome finish.
Can you process steel wheels?
Winona PVD Coatings is able to process steel wheels only for OEM wheel programs. You must contact a Winona PVD Coatings Sales Representative for more information.
Can you process chrome plated wheels?
No. Chrome plated wheels cannot be processed with Winona’s G-Chrome® process.
What is the cost for processing wheels with the G-Chrome® finish?
